Broadsides
Mountain Days
This is a broadside series exploring the use of raw/natural materials in combination with print and papermaking in order to depict the essense of a place. The image is of a beloved lake, a place I have spent time at nearly every summer of my life. I created a set of negatives from my photographs and then created cyanotype and photopolymer prints upon handmade paper comprised of dirt, leaves and fish scales collected from/around the lake. Each print is unique and features an added element from the landscape placed alongside/on top of the print.
