In celebration of the 5th CODEX Symposium, the 10th anniversary of the CODEX Foundation, and the 500th anniversary of the death of Aldus Manutius, I worked with the CODEX Foundation to organize the first ever CODEX Assembly-Exchange, Alchimie du Verbe, a carefully curated collection of printed works from some of the finest book artists and printers in the world.

From drafting the project proposal to engaging the participating artists, from designing the overall format for the prints and structure for the box to designing and printing the 26 different artist colophons, box book plates and project prospectus, I worked hand-in-hand with CODEX executive director Peter Koch and the 26 participating artists to bring the Assembly-Exchange to fruition. 

The work was exhibited at CODEX 2015, has been purchased by numerous national and international collections, and was favorably reviewed here in Verso, a Magazine for the Book as a Work of Art.
